Our History
Jennifer Hodge, CPPS is the owner of Jenn's Pet TLC, LLC and animals are her passion. That's why she started her own pet sitting business in 2009. Whether your furry, feathered, or scaly family members need looking after for a few days while you are away or they need regular care, we're here to assist in your pet care needs! Jenn's Pet TLC, LLC is a member of Pet Sitters International, and we specialize in all critters including horses, livestock, chickens, cats, dogs, and other smaller household animals. We have years of experience caring for special needs animals, and we are available for scheduled walks, Almost Overnight sitting, check-in pet sitting, and daily care. If you need help caring for your furry, feathered or scaly family members or just need someone to check in on them during the day, we'll give them the tender loving care they deserve!

Jennifer, CPPS has loved caring for animals since childhood, and she’s had quite a few throughout the years. From cats to dogs, to birds, hamsters, fish, guinea pigs, and even a horse; she’s had more four-legged family members than two legged ones!
Jennifer has always known that she’s wanted a career caring for animals. So, after graduating college with a degree in Social & Behavioral Sciences, she founded Jenn’s Pet TLC. Upon meeting her first client, Mia (look for her in the gallery, RIP) she knew that this was the right path for her.
After a decade of professional animal care, Jennifer has learned quite a bit and continues to pursue education via invaluable resources from such places as Pet Sitters International (PSI) and Prosperous Pet Business Academy. In 2019 she earned her Certified Professional Pet Sitter (CPPS) credential through PSI and plans to maintain her accreditation through continued education. She’s endured more that her fair share of bumps, scratches, and bites. but she remains ever dedicated to the well-being of all her furry, feathered, and scaly friends!

Ryan, CPPS has supported Jenn’s Pet TLC since its inception as Jennifer’s husband, but he officially joined the company in 2016 after finding that he was unfulfilled by the daily corporate grind. He met the new challenges of the profession head-on; earning a certificate in pet first aid and CPR within months of coming on board and attending his first Pet Sitter’s International conference before his first year was out.
He is Jenn's Pet TLC’s most prolific dog walker and wrangles multiple dog packs on a daily basis. However, Ryan has also taken on the company’s most difficult special needs challenges where his patient touch and gentle heart has won him many a friend among our shyest clients.

Staff Sitters
Nicole has been a life long advocate for animal welfare, volunteering at animal shelters and rescues.Nicole has been a professional petsitter since 2019 and is certified in Pet Health Care. Nicole views caring for your beloved animal companions as a sacred duty and com-plete delight. Nicole has one 12 year old daughter and a crossed eye kitty.
